What is SORCERY?

Herein we discuss Sorcery.

The Sorcerers and Sorceress. What are they?

Dwight and I (Ammael) in our travels in the Spirit World,

we have discovered, we are called 

"Sorcerer and Sorceress".

We connect with and can discuss with various Entities,

during our Rituals and other works, many things.

One of the titles they give us, is Sorcerer and Sorceress.

Difficult titles to understand,

when we do not truly have a good description of what these mean,

in the world today.

In an attempt to make ourselves more clear,

we have decided to begin a blog,

hopefully to describe what we have come to know

these titles mean.

Check back on occasion as we add more.

Sorcery is not an "art". It is not a Faith, Religion or belief. Sorcery exists within one who is born within this unique Energy. A Sorcerer/Sorceress is misunderstood in our world. There are many things they can and cannot achieve. They may rely on an alliance with a higher spiritual being, which optimally results in the practitioner having access to an external power much stronger than anything he could have otherwise channeled by themselves. They may draw unto themselves and connect to the Energy, Knowledge and Wisdom of other Beings/Creations with or without their consent, knowingly or unknowingly.  They are seen by many as the outlaw in the universe of magic. The only set limitations for a Sorcerer/Sorceress... their own mortality, the strength and psychology of their own mind, the Creation's alliance limitations of Wisdom and Energy, and the Higher Laws.

A Sorcerer/Sorceress is natural born in this Magick. Capable of expressing this Magick without being taught. A Sorcerer/Sorceress mind, tends to take more of an academic and scientific view of magic. They see all the Universe as comprised of Energy. Energy in which can be harnessed. They see Magic as the ability to harness and control Energies for a variety of effects utilizing their own innate abilities and sometimes training, with force of will, to effect change. A Sorcerer/Sorceress sees and connects with the Energy within ALL things to create a shift or change or Influence. They see and understand the Influence ALL things have on one another in ALL things. They see and understand that ALL life has Influence and Power. They do not see themselves as greater or more valuable. They see the Universe, Earth, Stones, Plant life, Air, Sound, and all Creatures seen and Unseen as Connected, valuable and worth protecting. A Sorcerer/Sorceress simply sees and knows they are a part and connected to ALL, as ALL things are.

Sorcery speaks of the natural born ability of mind and body and Etheric Energy, to wield Energy itself. Through untaught measures and eventually seeks higher wisdom and knowledge. Both Natural skill and a desire to seek skill.

A Sorcerer/Sorceress can wield magic from within or utilize energy from anywhere in the Universe. Can use Ritual Magic, Natural Magic or any type of Magic known or unknown. Knowingly or unknowingly. Sorcerers create magic the way a musician creates a melody, with inborn natural talent and ideally honed by practice. But practice is not needed. They can react instinctively without prior understanding or study. As a foal newly born, they KNOW intrinsically and KNOW without words, they breath, stand and RUN! A foal can indeed grow and be guided by a teacher to become stronger and knowledgeable in higher skills such as Airs Above the Ground. But a horse in Wordless knowing, needs no teacher to run and leap and shout for joy! Thus is a Sorcerer/Sorceress to Natures Magick. They are ONE with the Energy of the ALL Universe. And can wield it with Wordless Knowledge!

A Sorcerer/Sorceress is capable of seeing, feeling, hearing, tasting, smelling (and all senses known and unknown) and connecting to the Energy of all things Past, Present and Future as HERE and NOW. And can do so, with or without Spells or Rituals of any kind. But within the Mind and Energy Self through ALL things. Also may do so while awake or in sleep. It is important to remember that they may do so knowingly or unknowingly. A Sorcerer/Sorceress can indeed utilize Rituals to enhance their focus and strength and Connection if desired. They will demonstrate the ability to KNOW a Ritual without learning it, or being taught it. Thus demonstrating the unique innate natural born connected-ness to the ALL or Universe Energy and Knowledge. A Sorcerer/Sorceress can choose to adhere to the Faith or belief systems of any Religion, and practice those specific forms of Spells or Rituals with extreme agility. They are not limited or hindered except by psychology of self or Higher Laws. Meaning, A Sorcerer/Sorceress can practice Witchcraft, but will not be limited to Witchcraft.

A Sorcerer/Sorceress may be considered "good" or "evil" by outside observers. But the Sagacious ones themselves, believe that the singular act is to be measured. They seek to know if the act is of vicious malicious nature or to bring balanced harmony or direction to self or others. They will use the terms, "balanced or unbalanced, positive or negative" etc. A true Sorcerer/Sorceress believes no human is either wholly good, nor evil. Being that it is truly impossible for one human, to be completely one or the other. Thusly, they will not label themselves as good, evil, light or dark etc.

A Sorcerer/Sorceress is able to feel, see, hear, know  etc. the different Creations in our Universe, Past, Present or Future. A few of which are labelled as such...Djinn, Muwakil, Demons, Goetia, Angels, Ghosts, Spirits and more. A Sorcerer/Sorceress is capable of communing with them. Are able to command or call upon them in varying degrees. This is where many people confuse Sorcery with a Religion. Because they know of varying Creations that may not be accepted by today's science, and may connect with any of the afore-mentioned Creations, hence a Sorcerer can be labelled wrongly. i.e. To see nature, does not make one a Witch. To see an Angel, does not make them a Christian. To speak with Demons, does not make one "Evil" or a Satanist. To speak with Djinn, does not make them Muslim etc. Religious beliefs are separate from ability. A Sorcerer/Sorceress may choose to adhere to a specific Faith, but this remains a CHOICE. A Sorcerer/Sorceress may indeed choose to adhere to any Faith or even create their own system of Religion. They may or may not form any religious beliefs. May choose to believe in a Monotheistic faith, may choose to be an Atheist, or even choose to be a Wiccan etc.  What we are discussing is a Higher Law. We have CHOICE. A Sorcerer/Sorceress, as all humans, are ruled by a Higher Law...we all have CHOICE. We can choose to believe and practice and do as we wish in our hearts and minds. No matter what we are presented with, we always have choice within ourselves. A person can see an Angel and choose to be an Atheist. A person can see a Creator and choose to not worship. 

A Sorcerer/Sorceress, will inherently with age and Wisdom, grow to seek Balance in Self and the Universe. As they age and mature and grow, they become more keenly aware and feel connection to the ALL, and through self preservation and sensitivity in Energy, seek Balance. Some will become aware and heed this Balance early in life, and others it may take time.  A Sorcerer/Sorceress is so connected, it is not possible for them to maintain unnatural imbalance for long, without severe mental, emotional and even physical repercussions.
